Our approach

We don’t treat standing seam as one option among many. We focus.

Cascade Standing Seam focuses on straightforward metal roofing projects where standing seam makes the most sense.

That narrower focus lets us price faster, avoid unnecessary failure points, and spend more attention on execution.

Cascade is locally owned, owner-operated, and not backed by private equity. We keep the business lean so more of the project budget goes into materials, installation, and clean execution.

Is Standing Seam Right For Your Project?

Pros

  1. A cleaner, more premium roof aesthetic

  2. Substantially longer lasting than standard asphalt or exposed fastener metal roofing

  3. Helps homes to cool more quickly in the Summer

  4. Better compatibility with future solar installation

  5. Resistant to moss and easier to clean

  6. Paintable if you ever want a different aesthetic or to add even more to the performance lifespan

Cons

  1. Slower install. Most asphalt roofs can be rocked out in a single day. Standing seam installs usually need at least 3 days

  2. Slower material sourcing. Metal panels are custom made for each job. This takes 1-2 weeks.

  3. Less forgiving to installer error than asphalt.

  4. Low slopes, dormers, valleys, skylights, or chimneys add more complexity to the install process relative to asphalt.

How the Quote Process Works

  1. Text your address to 206-380-0804.

  2. We review the roof shape, access, slope, and approximate size using your photos and satellite measurements.

  3. If the project looks like a good fit, we give you a tight remote ballpark before giving the option to schedule a site visit.

  4. If the roof is too complex for our specialty, we’ll say so early.
